Controversy Disscussion on assisted suicides
I know I come off as a radical. There's no changing that, but at least I'm rational.
ReplyDeleteI really do favor mercy ruling, to be honest. Life is something entirely in hands on the individual. You cannot take away the person's personal choice to do with it as they please. And you cannot force a person to live that way because it's cruel. At least with mercy ruling, it's up to them and it's done in the most humane way possible.
My knee-jerk reaction is to say no. And when I think about it, I think I still vote no. Life is not optional: we do not have a choice about whether or not we exist. What, then, gives us the right to decide when we should cease to exist?
